Pune: Sweet and Money Theft; Accused Arrested

Pune, November 18, 2020: The Samarth police station nabbed a robber, Akash also known as Jhurlaya Patole in a loot case.

The police have seized Rs 46,000 cash from him. Patole was arrested and booked for 15 robbery cases at Khadak and Samarth police stations. According to police, Jhurlaya had lifted the shutters of Mangalam Dryfoot in Bhavani Peth at 6 am on November 15 and stole Rs 48,000 cash and sweets from the shop. The robbery was captured on CCTV.

Soon after a complaint was registered with the police, they rushed to the shop and traced them down through CCTV footage. Samarth police arrested the accused within 24 hours under the guidance of Inspector Vishnu Tamhane. The Jhurlya who stole money and sweets was produced in court today.
