Pune: Talegaon Dabhade Police Initiate Legal Proceedings Against Counterfeit Bajaj Goods Seller

Talegaon, 11th February 2024: A case has been registered against an individual for allegedly selling counterfeit goods purportedly belonging to the Bajaj company. The incident came to light on Friday afternoon in Thakar Vasti, Talegaon Dabhade.
Piyush Yashwant Raut, aged 30 and hailing from Dombivali, filed a complaint with the Talegaon Dabhade Police Station. Subsequently, a case has been registered against Amit Arvind Shah, aged 56 and a resident of Somatane.
According to police sources, the accused, without any authorization, replicated Bajaj company products and put them up for sale, amounting to goods worth Rs. 36,416. This action is deemed a violation of ownership rights, leading to the registration of a case by the Talegaon Dabhade Police.
