Pune: Tata Technologies Software Engineer found dead, police suspect suicide
Wakad (Pune), June 18, 2020: An IT engineer working with Tata Technologies in Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi was found dead at his residence. The incident took place around 2 pm today in Wakad. The deceased has been identified as Prashant Narendra Seth (age 32), a resident of Capriccio society, Wakad. Police suspect that he died of suicide.
According to Senior Police Inspector Dr Vivek Mugalikar, in-charge of Wakad police station under Pimpri Chinchwad police commissionerate, the deceased hailed from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. He has been living in Wakad for the last few years and was working for Tata Technologies in Hinjawadi. The body has been shifted to Aundh Hospital for autopsy.
A letter purportedly written by Seth before the suicide has been found by the police. “It is mentioned that nobody should be held responsible for the suicide. However, we are still investigating the case”, Inspector Mugalikar said.
