Pune: Teen Girl Murdered in Pimpri-Chinchwad After Knife Attack

Walhekarwadi, 12th May 2025: An 18-year-old girl was brutally murdered with a sharp weapon in Chinchwad’s Walhekarwadi area late Sunday night. The incident occurred around 9:30 PM on 11th May.

The deceased has been identified as Komal Bharat Jadhav, a resident of Walhekarwadi, Chinchwad.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (Pimpri Division) Sachin Hire, two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and attacked Komal with a sharp weapon in the Krishnaai Nagar locality of Walhekarwadi. She succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the scene and began their investigation. Efforts to trace and apprehend the suspects are currently underway. A case has been registered at the Chinchwad Police Station.
