Pune: Ten-Month-Old Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Tempo; Case Registered Against Absconding Driver
Pune, 15th April 2023: A ten-month-old girl died after being hit by a speeding tempo in the Dhankawadi area. The Sahakarnagar police have registered a case against the tempo driver who escaped after the accident.
The name of the deceased girl is Kavya Rahul Bhagwat. Kavya’s mother Pratiksha (22), a resident of Shankar Maharaj Vasahat, Dhankawadi has filed a complaint at the Sahakarnagar Police Station.
Pratiksha was leaving with her ten-month-old daughter Kavya. A speeding tempo hit a pedestrian Pratiksha on the road from Shankar Maharaj temple in Dhankawadi to Bibvewadi. Kavya was found under the wheel of the tempo and died on the spot. Search is on for the tempo driver who escaped after the accident and Sahakarnagar police have registered a case against the tempo driver.
