Pune: Thieves Pelt Stones At Police In Sangvi, Two Persons Detained
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 4th June 2021: A policeman who was patrolling the area near Aundh District Hospital sustained injuries when thieves pelted stones at patrolling team in the wee hours of Friday.
Senior Police Inspector Ranganath Unde of Sangvi police station said, “Policemen Amol Lavand and Kalyan Bhosle were patrolling the area when they saw two people. After realizing that the police were there, the men pelted stones at the officials which resulted in Lavand getting injured.”
A police motorbike has also been damaged in the process. The police have arrested two suspects for the same and further investigation is being carried on.
