Pune: Thieves Snatched Rs 90,000 Worth Jewellery From Woman On Kelkar Road
Narayan Peth, 14th June 2022: A senior woman filed a complaint at the Vishrambag police station for a chain snatching case. The thieves pushed the senior woman on Kelkar Road in Narayan Peth and snatched her gold jewellery worth Rs 90,000.
The complainant stays in Shaniwar Peth. The bus reached a stop near Numvi Shishu School around 9.30 AM. During this, two thieves entered the bus while the woman was getting off the bus. The thieves pushed the woman and snatched gold bracelets worth Rs 90, 000 from the woman’s hands and rushed away from the scene.
The woman shouted which alerted the citizens and they tried to stop the snatchers but the thieves fled away.
Upon receiving the information, Sunil Mane, Senior Police Inspector, Kundlik Kayagude, Crime Branch Inspector and Rahul Kalambikar,Assistant Inspector rushed to the spot and started the investigation.
Police have seized CCTV footage from the area for further questioning of the residents around the scene. Police constable Bhujbal is investigating the case further.
