Pune: Thieves Steal Six Iron Lids From Manhole Chambers In Kalyaninagar
Kalyaninagar, 31st August 2021: Unknown thieves have stolen iron lids from the manhole chambers in parts of Kalyaninagar. An FIR has been registered in this regard at the Yerwada police station.
According to police, Pune municipal corporation (PMC) installed six chambers in 2020. There were three chambers in front of The Floor Works restaurant, two iron chambers in front of Mamata General Stores and one in Pushpak Society’s lane.
Citizens learnt about the theft on 20th August and informed the municipal administration. An inspection revealed that the iron chambers installed by the office had been stolen.
The complaint was then lodged by ward official Vaibhav Kamble (35). Meanwhile, Yerwada police are now investigating the case.
