Pune: Thieves Stole Three Sandlewood Trees From NIBM Institute After Threatening Security Guard With Sword

Pune, 14th October 2022: By putting a sword on the neck of the security supervisor of the reputed National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) in Kondhwa and threatening to kill him, thieves stole sandalwood trees, clothes, debit card of another security guard from the premises of the institution.

 

A case has been registered against four persons at Kondhwa police station. This incident took place at around 2.00 am on Wednesday (October 12).

 

 

Bhupender Singh Darasingh (41), a resident of Shivaneri Nagar, Kondhwa has filed a complaint at Kondhwa Police Station. According to the information given by the police, the complainant works as a security supervisor in NIBM organization. Around 2:15 am on Wednesday, the complainant and his fellow security guard Shivlal Paswan were inspecting the area.

The complainant was working at the institute’s auditorium and filter point. At that time, the thieves who entered the premises of the institute put a sword on his neck and threatened to kill him and warned him not to scream.

 

After that, thieves cut down three sandalwood trees in the institution and forcibly stole three sandalwood tree trunks worth Rs six thousand, two shirts from the bag of Shivlal Paswan who was on duty at the water filter point, a debit card, etc.

 

When the complainant tried to resist him, thieves threw a stone at him and injured him. Police sub-inspector Ratnadeep Birajdar is investigating the case further.
