Pune: Thieves Strike Vishrantwadi Police Colony, Policemen’s Flats Burgled of Over Rs 1 Lakh
Vishrantwadi, 1st March 2023:Thieves have targeted flats in the Vishrantwadi Police Colony of Pune, stealing Rs 1.26 lakh from two flats in the colony.
Police constable Allauddin Musa Syed has filed a complaint at Yerawada Police Station. Syed, who is a resident of Police Colony, had closed the flat and gone to work, while his neighbor Pawan Pawar had gone out with his family for a wedding. Thieves broke into the flat by breaking the lock, stealing Rs 33,000 from Syed’s cupboard and Rs 93,000 from Pawar’s flat.
Police sub-inspector Ankush Dembale is investigating the case.
