Pune: Three Persons Dead In Accident On Dhamari-Belha Jejuri Highway

Shirur, 4th February 2023: Dhamari-Belha Jejuri highway where the number of accidents is increasing frequently, in an accident that took place around 7.00 pm on February 3, a young woman along with mother and son died on the spot.

The three deceased have been identified as Sanket Dilip Doke (20), Vijaya Dilip Doke (40), and Omkar Chandrakant Sukre (20), all are residents of Khadakwadi Ambegaon, district Pune. Sampat Chandra Doke (45), a resident of Khadakwadi Ambegaon, district Pune filed a complaint at Shikrapur Police Station. Accordingly, Shikrapur police filed a case against Tempo driver Akshay Baban Sakore, a resident of Chandoli Rajguru Nagar, taluka Khed, district Pune.

Sanket Doke along with his mother and a friend was coming towards Shikrapur from Dhamari direction on his two-wheeler from Belha Jejuri highway when the tempo coming from Shikrapur’s side hit the bike of Doke. In this, Doke, his mother, and a friend died on the spot.

Further investigation is being conducted by Police Constables Rajesh Mane and Rakesh Malekar under the guidance of Police Inspector Pramod Kshirsagar.
