Pune: Three Youths Arrested For Torturing 8-Year-Old Boy After Blackmailing With Videos

Dattawadi, 3rd April 2023: Pune police have arrested three youths for torturing and threatening an 8-year-old boy under the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse Act.

The accused trio, identified as Santosh alias Pakya Prakash Shinde (21), Hemant alias Hemya Mahesh Malve (19), and Kiran Suresh Sawant (25), reside in the same area as the victim.

According to police, they subjected the minor to unnatural acts by showing him obscene videos, which Sawant filmed on his mobile phone. The victim was then threatened for two months with the possibility of his relatives viewing the videos. The accused threatened to harm anyone who revealed the ordeal.

Fed up with the harassment, the minor boy informed his father about the incident, following which the case was registered, leading to the arrests.
