Pune to Host International Aikido Seminar with Lisa Tomoleoni Shihan in February 2026
Kalyani Nagar, 17th January 2026: Pune is set to host a rare international Aikido seminar with renowned instructor Lisa Tomoleoni Shihan, a 7th Dan Aikikai, from February 20 to 22, 2026, at Artsphere in Kalyani Nagar.
Organised by Pune Aikikai, the three-day seminar will offer participants an opportunity to experience the Japanese martial art of Aikido, known for its graceful yet powerful techniques that focus on harmony, balance, and non-violence. The event is open to everyone, from first-time learners to experienced practitioners looking to deepen their practice.
According to the organisers, the seminar aims to promote mutual growth through disciplined training and shared learning on the mat. “This is a rare chance for the Aikido community in Pune and nearby regions to train with an international Shihan and refine both technical and philosophical aspects of the art,” a Pune Aikikai representative said.
