Pune: To Stop Corruption, PMC To Adopt One Tender Process For Work

Pune, November 24, 2020: In order to break the nexus between municipal corporation officers and contractors, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) commissioner has directed to adopt one tender process for one development work in the city.

Earlier, various contractors would be working on one project. Then municipal commissioner had allowed multiple contractors to work on one project which had lead to widespread corruption. Every year crores of rupees are spent on various developmental projects in the city.
