Pune: Tourist Youth Fell Near Visapur Fort, Rescued By Villagers
Lonavla, 11th July 2022: A young man fell in the Visapur fort area of Maval taluka in the afternoon. His leg has been injured but he is safe.
After learning about this incident, members of the Shivdurg Mitramandal and villagers went to Visapur fort and rescued the injured youth from the forest.
The youth is identified as Yash Mehta and he is a resident of Mangaon in the Raigad district.
Currently, it is raining heavily in Lonavla and Maval areas. The mountain areas are slippery. The rescue team has appealed to those who come for tourism as well as to the people who came for hiking to be more careful.
