Pune: TP Scheme Approved For Development Of Vadgaon Sheri
Vadgaon Sheri, 9th February 2023: As the owner of the land is not giving land for the development of the roads in the Vadgaon Sheri area and it is affecting the area, it has finally been decided to do an Urban Development Project (TP Scheme) at this place. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Vikram Kumar approved the proposal in the City Improvement Committee today.
Vadgaon Sheri village was included in the Pune Municipal Corporation in 1997 and the development plan was announced in 2005. It was finally approved in 2007. But in the last 15 years, Vadgaon Sheri has not developed much. On the contrary, except for Vadgaon Sheri, other spaces in this area have developed due to the presence of big roads. Since 2007, landowners in Vadgaon Sheri are not ready to acquire the land required for the road. As it is necessary to develop the roads in this village and implement the TP scheme, former corporator Sheetal Shinde demanded that the TP scheme should be implemented.
Accordingly, the proposal has been placed before the City Improvement Committee for approval. It was approved at a meeting of the City Improvement Committee.
