Pune, April 2026: School sports days may introduce children to running, jumping, and competing. But TrackNights Pune 2026 is offering something on a very different scale.

From 24th to 26th April, TrackNights will host a floodlit athletics championship designed to recreate the excitement of professional competition for young athletes. With stadium-style floodlights, precision electronic timing, live score displays, and photo finish technology, TrackNights aims to turn athletics into an experience that feels bigger and far more electrifying than the usual school ground event.

Open to participants across U8 – U18, and Open categories, the event welcomes both experienced athletes and children who simply love to run, race, jump, or challenge themselves.

And there will be plenty to compete for.

TrackNights Pune 2026 will feature 90+ events across categories, covering:

  • Sprints
  • Relays
  • Long Jump
  • High Jump
  • Shot Put
  • Javelin Throw

Participants will also compete for:

  • Individual Championship Trophies
  • Team Championship Trophies
  • Cash prizes up to ₹50,000

What makes TrackNights especially exciting for families is the atmosphere being created around the competition.

Imagine children stepping onto the track under floodlights as the crowd watches closely. Every race timed electronically down to the fraction of a second. Tight finishes reviewed through photo finish technology. Live scores flashing across LED displays. The kind of setting that instantly makes young athletes feel like a part of something global.

Because for many children, that environment changes everything.

Sport feels different when the stage feels real.

Young athletes often discover a new level of focus when competition feels official. They push harder in the final stretch. They learn how to manage nerves before the starting signal. They experience the discipline of preparation and the resilience that comes with both winning and losing.

These are lessons that stay with them long after medals and trophies are packed away.

At a time when many parents are looking for meaningful activities beyond screens and indoor routines, TrackNights offers children a chance to build confidence through movement, challenge, and live competition.

The event is also designed to be inclusive.

Children do not need formal athletics training to participate. If they enjoy running fast, jumping far, or testing themselves through sport, they are welcome on the track.

For some, this may become a memorable weekend experience.

For others, it may spark a deeper love for athletics.

Either way, Pune parents have a rare opportunity this April to let their children experience sport in a setting that feels truly special.

Registrations for TrackNights Pune 2026 are now open, but only until 15th April.

With limited slots available across events and age groups, early registration is advised.
