Pune Traffic Alert: Khadki–Chinchwad Level Crossing Gate to Remain Closed Until October 15

Pune, 13th October 2026: Central Railway’s Pune Division will temporarily close Level Crossing (LC) Gate No. 62/A in the Khadki–Chinchwad section to road traffic from 9 am on October 13 to 7 pm on October 15, 2026, for essential maintenance work.

The gate is located at kilometre 183/4–5 in the Khadki–Chinchwad section, between kilometre markers 185 and 175.

During the three-day closure, road users have been advised to use the nearby Road Under Bridge (RUB) and Road Over Bridge (ROB), located approximately 500 metres from the level crossing.

Commuters have been asked to plan their journeys accordingly and follow directions provided at the site during the maintenance period.
