Pune Traffic Alert: LHS Bridge No. 53 Shut Between Talegaon and Dehu Road Till Jan 25
Talegaon, 17th January 2026: Road users travelling between Talegaon and Dehu Road will face a week-long disruption as the Central Railway has announced the temporary closure of LHS Bridge No. 53 (Road Under Bridge – RUB) for essential maintenance work.
According to the Pune Division of Central Railway, the bridge located at Km 164/1–2 on the TGN–DEHR section will remain closed to all road traffic from 8 am on Monday, January 19, to 6 pm on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The closure is being enforced to facilitate wall construction, painting, and cleaning works under the jurisdiction of ADEN (South), Lonavala.
Officials said the maintenance is necessary to ensure long-term safety and infrastructure upkeep of the bridge. During the closure period, commuters have been advised to use the alternative route via LC Gate No. 52 at Km 163/3–4.
