Pune: Traffic Diversion At Golf Club Chowk In Yerwada, Check Alternative Routes

Yerwada, 19th August 2022: Flyover work is underway at Golf Club Chowk, Yerwada by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Out of the total nine spans of the flyover, the RCC work of eight spans has been completed and span work at the chowk will be started.

For this work, the traffic in the main square will be changed as follows,

(1) The road from Ambedkar Chowk to Shastrinagar Chowk will remain open for light vehicles (up to 2.5 m in height) only.

(2) Right turn from Ambedkar Chowk to Gunjan Chowk and right turn from Shastrinagar Chowk to Airport Road will remain closed for all types of vehicles.

(3) The road leading from Gunjan Chowk to Airport is accessible for all types of vehicles.

(4) The right turn from Gunjan Chowk to Shastrinagar Chowk and the right turn from Airport Road to Ambedkar Chowk will be closed for all types of vehicles.

Dr Kunal Khemnar, Additional Municipal Commissioner (E), Pune Municipal Corporation has requested to the citizens of Pune to use alternative roads and cooperate with the Pune Municipal Corporation.
