Pune: Traffic Diverted For Government’s ‘Shaasan Aaplya Dari’ Event At Jejuri Today, Know Details
Pune 7th August 2023: After cancelling the event on multiple ocassions, the state government’s ‘Shasan Aaplya Daari'(Government at Your Doorstep) program will finally happen at Jejuri in presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. The ministers will also lay foundation stone of Jejuri Development Project here. Considering a participation of large number of beneficiaries from various parts, the district administration has announced traffic diversion on the roads leading towards Jejuri to avoid traffic congestion.
The traffic movement on Pune-Pandharpur National Highway 965 and Pune-Baramati has been banned between 5 am and 9 pm (August 7). The traffic on this route has been diverted from alternate routes.
Jejuri Police Station jurisdiction :
Buses and vehicles coming from Satara, Phaltan, Lonand, Baramati and traveling towards Pune should use Pune-Solapur Highway No. 65 via Nira-Moragaon-Supa-Kedgaon-Chafula route.
Those traveling from Pune to Baramati should use the Belasar-Kothale-Najare-Supa-Moragaon route via Baramati-Phaltan-Satara.
Vadgaon Nimbalkar Police Station jurisdiction :
Vehicles traveling from Baramati and Nira towards Pune should use Moragaon-Supa-Kedgaon-Chafula – Pune-Solapur Highway No. 65 route.
Saswad Police Station jurisdiction :
Vehicles traveling from Pune towards Phaltan – Satara should use the Saswad-Narayanpur-Kapurhol route or
Saswad-Veer Phata-Parinche-Veer-Wathar route.
The vehicles coming to attend the program at Jejuri are exempted from this order. Citizens are appealed to take a note of diversions and cooperate the administration, said officials.
