Pune Traffic Police Proposes Ban On Heavy Vehicles On Various Roads In Kondhwa, Undri Areas
Pune, 11th November 2022: The Pune Traffic Police have planned to implement a restriction on heavy vehicles on the routes between Undri Chowk to Kadnagar Chowk, Jyoti Hotel to Pargenagar Junction, Kondhwa, NIBM Road to S M Ghule Patil Chowk, Sangriya society, Bishop School to NIBM Road and from Ishrat Baug, Orchid Palace society, to NIBM Road. The proposed ban will be implemented from six in the morning to noon and from four to nine in the evening from the end of this month.
The Police have made this suggestion to ensure better and safer movement of vehicles on the city roads. Citizens have been requested to submit their feedback regarding the proposal by 22nd November.
So far, the proposal has received a mixed response of approval and disapproval from citizens, authorities, officials, and societies.
