Pune: Two Bachelor’s Degrees in Four Years, Under Dual Degree Program at Symbiosis

Pune, 17th March 2025: Symbiosis International University) (SIU) and Deakin University, Australia have collaborated to launch the dual degree program. This dual degree program is a tailormade opportunity exclusively offered at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune for students to earn two Bachelor’s degrees within 4 years.

Degrees under this program are- B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Civil Engineering major, B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) and Bachelor of Data Science and B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) and Bachelor of Cyber Security.

The focus of the Dual degree program is to prepare students to develop global competencies. The students’ study for the first two years at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) in Pune and seamlessly transfer to the Deakin to study for two more years to complete program requirements at both universities, offering students a comprehensive and enriching learning experience.

At the end of 4 years and upon completing program requirements at both universities, two separate bachelor’s degrees shall be awarded by the respective universities. The dual degree students shall also receive a merit scholarship from Deakin.
