Pune: Two Bike Riders Killed In Separate Accidents

Pune, 22nd February 2022: Two two-wheeler riders were killed in different accidents in the Pune city. Accidents took place on Vimannagar and Saswad roads.

Two days ago, a two-wheeler was hit by a loaded truck in the Vimannagar area around midnight at 12:45 am. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Rawat (32), resident of Spender County, Lohegaon Road, Wagholi.

Rawat’s friend Durgesh Shahi (31), resident of Spender County, Lohegaon Road, Wagholi, has lodged a complaint at the Vimantal Police Station regarding this.

Rawat had left the Vimannagar area two days ago at around midnight. Rawat was killed when a truck hit his two-wheeler. A case has been registered against the truck driver who ran away after the accident and police sub-inspector Mangal Jogan is investigating this case further.

A youth was killed when a jeep hit a two-wheeler at the Wadki Nala area on Saswad Road. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Mahadev Bidgar (20), resident of Wadki village in Haveli taluka of Pune district. Yogesh Modak (29) has lodged a complaint in this regard at Loni Kalbhor Police Station.

Bidgar, a two-wheeler rider, had gone to Saswad Road around 11:45 pm. At that time, the cargo jeep hit the two-wheeler of Bidgar. Sub-Inspector of Police PK Hambir is investigating the case further.
