Pune: Two-Day Special Campaign Organised For Opening Sukanya Samruddhi Accounts
Pune, 31st January 2023: On 9th-10th February, there will be a two-day special campaign for opening Sukanya Samrudhhi Accounts in honour of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts will be opened during this campaign at the Pune head post office and all of the sub-post offices in the Pune City East Division.
Parents may register a Sukanya Samrudhhi Account for a maximum of two girls under the age of ten. A tempting 7.6% interest rate is being given for January 2023 to March 2023 quarter.
By paying a minimum of Rs 250, parents can open an account on their daughter’s behalf. They must also submit the account opening form, the daughter’s birth certificate, and photocopies of their Aadhaar and Pan cards.
A maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh may be invested in a fiscal year; under section 80C, the money invested is also exempt from income tax.
In a special campaign of the Sukanya Samrudhi Yojana on 9th and 10th February 2023, Senior Superintendent Post Office, Pune City East Division, Pune 411037, has urged all parents to open Sukanya Samriddhi accounts for their girl children under the age of 10.
