Pune: Two Die In Separate Accidents In Pashan, Baner Areas

Pune, 18th January 2023: Two people died in separate accidents in Pashan and Baner areas.

A bike rider died after being hit by a tempo in a rocky area. The deceased bike rider has been identified as Prakash Narbahadur Karki (31), a resident of Bavdhan and a native of Nepal. Karki’s wife, Bishna (28), has filed a complaint at the Chaturshringi police station.

Karki was going along the rocky road to buy vegetables. At that time, the speeding tempo hit the bike rider, Prakash. Prakash, who was seriously injured in the accident, died before treatment. A case has been registered against the tempo driver, and police sub-inspector Kapil Bhalerao is investigating.

An incident took place in the Baner area where a young pedestrian was hit by a truck transporting cement, and he died. The deceased pedestrian has been identified as Pankaj Goud (18), a resident of Kaspate Vasti, Wakad. Goud was on his way to Pancard Club Road in Baner. At that time, Goud died when the truck carrying cement hit him.

Chaturshringi police have registered a case against the truck driver. Police official Subhash Walke has filed a complaint in this regard.
