Pune: Two Lady Cops Fight At Pune Police Headquarters Over ‘Financial’ Settlement

Pune, September 22, 2020: On Monday morning, lady duty officer and lady police constable allegedly fought at the Pune City Police headquarters in Shivajinagar. In the fight, the duty officer was injured and now she is hospitalized. A similar incident had taken place last week in the cyber police station which is also located in the police headquarters premises.
According to officials, the duty officer had come to the police constable where they had a quarrel, which then turned into a scuffle. The duty officer had started first and then they accused each other. The police staff stopped the fight, but the duty officer was injured and now she is in hospital.
A senior police officer said that the concerned lady police personnel will be punished for behaving undisciplined. And this type of behaviour won’t be entertained. The reason for the quarrel was a financial settlement. Therefore, the inquiry will be held and action will be taken, the officer said.
