Pune: Health Minister Directs To Complete Facilities At Jumbo COVID Hospital Within Seven Days

Pune, September 21 2020: Concerned over the rising number of corona patients, State health minister Rajesh Tope directed the administration to finish the pending work at Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ventilator and oxygen bed within seven days.

Tope visited the jumbo COVID centre at College of Engineering Pune (COEP) ground in Shivajinagar and reviewed the situation. MLA Siddharth Shirole, divisional commissioner Saurabh Rao, district collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, PMC commissioner Vikram Kumar, additional municipal commissioner Rubal Agarwal, health department director Dr Archana Patil and other officials were also present on the occasion.

Tope directed to ensure the smooth flow of medicines and other required medical equipment. He also instructed to start the CT scan facility at the jumbo hospital at concessional rates. Besides, he also told to spread awareness about the helpline number. Agarwal gave a presentation on the occasion.

Tope also reviewed the Baner COVID hospital. Assistant PMC commissioner Jaydeep Pawar gave a presentation on the occasion. Tope reviewed the facilities at the hospital.
