Pune: Two Men Illegally Occupy Site Using Crane to Place Container, Wakad Police Register Case

Wakad, 18th April 2025: In Pune’s Wakad area, two men illegally encroached on a 67.8-guntha plot owned by KMSI Wakad Realty LLP by placing a container on the land using a crane and threatening workers at the site. The incident took place on the evening of 17th April near Lifepoint Hospital along the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway, prompting a complaint from Sandeep Rustum Abdar, an employee working on the property. Following the complaint, Wakad Police registered a case against the suspects, Sanket Rawade (31) and Ashish Ubale (35).

Police stated that the accused forcibly occupied the company’s land using a crane to place the container and intimidating workers to seize control of the site. The complaint has been formally recorded at Wakad police station, and investigations are underway.
