Pune, 25th April 2025: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) is set to inaugurate two new electric bus terminals at Charholi and Man today (25th lApril) at 4:30 pm. The inauguration ceremony will be led by Deputy Chief Minister and Pune Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar.

These newly developed e-bus terminals are part of PMPML’s initiative to modernize urban transport. The Charholi terminal will support a fleet of 60 buses, which will serve commuters from areas like Alandi, Vishrantwadi, Lohgaon, and Wagholi. It is also expected to significantly ease airport connectivity for air travelers.

At the Man terminal, 32 buses have been planned to cater to the growing transportation needs of the surrounding suburban population. PMPML officials stated that the terminals are aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and providing smoother commuting options in rapidly developing suburban regions.

With the addition of these two terminals, PMPML’s e-bus network now includes nine locations, joining existing terminals in Hinjawadi, Katraj, Baner-Sus Road, Bhosari, Poolgate, Deccan Gymkhana, and Hinjawadi Phase 2. The expansion is expected to improve public transport accessibility and promote the use of electric buses in Pune’s transportation system.
