Pune: Two Students Killed And One Injured After They Were Hit By A Car While Going To School
Pune 4th Sept 2023: In a tragic accident reported at Jalgaon Kade Pathar village in Baramati, three students studying in Class X were hit by a car while going to school. The incident took place at around 9:15 am on Monday.
According to officials, the injured students were immidiately rushed to nearby hospital by police personnel who were present nearby for duty ahead of protests being organised across the state over Maratha reservation. Two of the students identified as Onkar Santosh Khandekar and Rupesh Amol Khandekar were declared dead at the hospital while another students studying at Class V identified as Sanskar Santosh Khandekar has been shifted to other hospital for further treatment.
According to the police, the car that hit the students was travelling from Morgaon towards Baramati. The car driver after hitting student collided the car with another vehicle on the road. The police are investigating further in the matter.
