Pune: Two-Wheeler Accident Leads To Car Robbery On Baner Road
Baner, 26th October 2023: A young man and a young woman riding a two-wheeler were involved in an accident after being struck by a car in the Sanchar Bhavan area on Baner Road. During the incident, the car owner inquired about their well-being, and amidst the exchange, the two individuals seized the opportunity to drive away in the car.
Subsequently, a case was filed against the young man and two accomplices at the Chatushrungi police station. Tushar Sunil Kolekar, a 21-year-old resident of Loni Kalbhor, Pune, reported the incident to the police.
According to police, Kolekar’s car collided with a two-wheeler while he was travelling on Baner Road. This collision caused the young man and woman on the two-wheeler to fall onto the road. Kolekar halted his vehicle to inquire about their condition.
However, at that moment, the accused took hold of the complainant’s collar and called for two additional individuals. In a sudden turn of events, they forcibly confiscated the car keys and made off with the vehicle.
