Pune University Clarifies About Students Who Can Appear For Final Year Exam Later

Pune, October 21, 2020: As per the guidelines laid by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) administration, students falling into three categories can give the final year exam later.

Students in the following categories can give the examination later:
1) If there are two university examinations at the same time.
2) If any State Common Entrance Test (CET) or other Government Competitive Examination, is clashing with SPPU final year exam.
3) If the student is infected with Coronavirus disease (COVID19).

However, to get permission to sit for the special examination for the above-mentioned reason, the student has to submit all the required documents and certificates with the Coordinating Examination Cell through the Principal / Director of the respective colleges.

Accordingly, those appearing for the Bachelor of Education (BEd) MAH-CET 2020 today (October 21), October 22, October 23, can give the final year exam later. The details of the exam will be published on the University website from time to time.

Dr Prafulla Pawar, SPPU registrar, notified, “Final year examination for students giving B.Ed CET Entrance exam will be conducted later. I wish students to give the entrance stress-free.”

“All principals/directors, all affiliated colleges and recognized institutes are requested to bring the content of this circular to the notice of all students, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff and to cooperate with the university”, added the circular issued by SPPU on October 7.
