Pune University Exams To Begin From December 27
Pune, 25th December 2022: The semester end examination of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will start from December 27. The examination will be conducted offline and students will still be able to receive a photo-copy of their answer sheets and apply for revaluation if they wish.
The semester end examination of the university is usually held in the months of October and November. However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the university to alter the schedule. So now these exams are starting from 27th December. The schedule of these exams is also being announced in a phased manner.
Mahesh Kakade, Director of the Examination and Evaluation Board, SPPU, said, “Students who have applied for regular and backlog examinations of Diploma, Degree and Postgraduate courses will appear for the exam. Students should know the equivalent subjects announced under the syllabus on the website. Students’ exams will be completely based on the syllabus.”
He appealed to the principals of the respective colleges to arrange exam halls such that only one student sits on one bench. Students will be required to arrive at the exam center one hour before the exam time. If the university examination and other competitive examinations happen to be held on the same day at the same time, these students will be allowed to appear for a special examination. If a student is found to have committed malpractices during the examination, the concerned student will be liable for action. STudents will also be able to take home a copy of their answer sheet.
