Pune University Final Year Exams To Be Held In June 2021

Pune: April 27, 2021: In a bid to save students from missing on their other higher education opportunities, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has decided to conduct the final year examination online in June 2021.

The results for these examinations will be declared by August so that those aspiring for going abroad for higher studies will not miss the opportunity.

A decision was made in a meeting with State Higher Education minister

Recently, the higher education minister Uday Samant had conducted an online meeting with the vice-chancellors of 13 non-agriculture universities. During this meeting, the topic regarding the final year examination was taken up. Thus, the decision to conduct the examination for diploma, degree and post-graduate students was made so that the students will not miss the opportunity to apply for various other courses in state, national or international universities.

The application will be made available after May 10

The students can fill the application online for the examination till May 31. The forms will be made available by the varsity between May 10 to 15.

Exams to begin from mid-June

The examination will begin from June 15 onwards. The examination will be conducted online and will begin phase-wise. The results for the examination will be declared by July end while by August 15 all the results will be out.

The students will be given the marksheets and other required documents immediately after the examination so that the students can apply to various other universities.

Vice-chancellor Nitin Karmalkar said, “generally, the final year students opt for higher education and thus we are trying our best to declare the results of various term examination on time. When the term results are declared on time, we can conduct the final examination as per the schedule.”
