Pune University Releases Re-examination Dates For Students Who Faced Technical Issues

Pune, October 30, 2020: Thousands of final year students of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) who faced technical issues during the online/offline examination can take a sigh of relief as the varsity has decided to give a second chance to such students.

The varsity has received as many as 14,000 complaints which include login issues, the wrong language of question paper, server error, figures and formulas not available, unable to submit and wrong question papers during the examination. All the students that fit under any of these categories can re-apply for examination as per the instructions from the SPPU administration.

The re-examination will be conducted on 5th, 6th and 7th November 2020. This decision has also been made keeping the COVID-19 infected students and others whose examination overlapped with various competitive exams.

However, re-examination will be conducted online only. If the students who had earlier opted to take the exam offline, and do not have gadgets such as a computer, laptop and mobile, have been requested to give the online exam in their college.

A notice issued by SPPU stated, “Students whose complaints have been received will be sent details on their official e-mail id by November 2, 2020. Students who have complained but did not receive an e-mail regarding online re-examination should fill in the information in the Google form available on the university’s website by noon on November 3, 2020.”
