Pune University to Hold Online Entrance Exams for PG Courses from June 3 to 5

Pune, 2nd June 2025: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is set to conduct online entrance examinations for admission to various postgraduate (PG) courses offered by its on-campus departments from June 3 to June 5. The tests will be held in a remote proctored online mode, allowing students to appear from their homes.
According to university officials, entrance exams will only be conducted for programs where the number of applicants exceeds the available intake. For other PG courses, admission will be processed through alternative mechanisms.
The detailed schedule and exam instructions have been made available on the university’s official website. Candidates are advised to log in on time using their registered credentials and participate from a location of their convenience. Devices allowed for the exam include smartphones with front cameras, laptops, desktops, tablets, and iPads.
Candidates must keep their front-facing cameras switched on throughout the exam. Once logged in, the test must be completed within the allotted session time.
The entrance test will be of 100 marks and will follow a negative marking scheme, with one-fourth of the marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
SPPU has strongly advised all applicants to carefully review the exam guidelines and ensure their devices and internet connections are in proper working condition before the start of the examination.
