Pune: Vaishali Hotel Owner Confronted With Violent Gunpoint Bid For Power Of Attorney, FIR Registered
Pune, 19th June 2023: A shocking incident unfolded at Vaishali Hotel on Fergusson Road, as the owner faced a harrowing ordeal when assailants attempted to forcefully obtain the power of attorney at gunpoint. The victim, a woman, has accused her husband of brandishing a firearm during the incident.
The Shivaji Nagar Police Station has registered a case under the Domestic Violence Act in response to the complaint.
The individuals booked in this case have been identified as Vishwajit Vinayakrao Jadhav (38), Abhijit Vinayakrao Jadhav (40), Vinayakrao Jadhav (65), and Vaishali Vinayakrao Jadhav (60).
According to the victim’s complaint, multiple attempts were made by the accused between 2018 and 2023. The police report reveals that the complainant’s spouse, Vishwajit, allegedly employed manipulative tactics by administering alcohol and drugs to the victim at their residence on Ghole Road. Subsequently, he coerced her into engaging in intimate acts. Moreover, the victim endured physical abuse following their marriage. The accused then escalated the situation by wielding a pistol in an attempt to forcefully acquire the power of attorney from the victim’s father.
In an even more astonishing turn of events, all the accused colluded in the sale of four high-end vehicles initially purchased under the company’s name, with a collective value amounting to crores of rupees. Additionally, they purportedly misused the victim’s wedding jewelry and possessions, estimated to be worth a staggering sum of Rs 1.70 crore, along with two cars. The Shivajinagar Police are currently conducting an in-depth investigation into the case.
