Pune: Viman Nagar Women’s Club Felicitates Successful Women In Their Fields

Pune, 8th March 2022: Viman Nagar Women Club (VNWC) organized and celebrated International Women’s Day with 60+ women entrepreneurs, the inauguration of a new club, and a felicitation program at East Court in Viman Nagar on Saturday.
VNWC is a non-government organization (NGO) leading the way with its extreme efforts and social service for women out there.
The event began with an energetic flash mob and ribbon-cutting session and then was followed by the auspicious lamp lighting session and Ganesh Vandana.
The chief guests present on the occasion were Jagdish Mullik (City President BJP), Mukta Jagtap (Corporator Viman Nagar), Rahul Bhandre (Corporator Viman Nagar), Arjun Jagtap (Social Worker), and Dr Anjali Kurane, professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
The event continued with the felicitation program of 200 star guests.
The award categories were: medicine, social, fashion, education, digital media, business, entertainment, icon, and sports.
On the other hand, there were 60+ exuberant stalls of jewelry, food, clothing items, handmade items, lights, etc. The objective of this event was to encourage and empower women entrepreneurs.
Members of Viman Nagar Women Club believe, “Join Hands Together, We can change”. Following this, on this day they also inaugurated the Sinhagad Women Club (SWC).
Bobby Karnani, President of VNWC said, “VNWC started about 4 years ago for social causes and women empowerment. We have a lot of drives happening successfully and I am happy to say we are increasing in different parts of Pune.”
Later, there was a fashion show of women from various parts of Pune, who were doctors, entrepreneurs, dentists, etc.
Chief guest Jagdish Mullik said, “VNWC gives a platform to encourage skills of entrepreneurship among women. I greet the members of VNWC to make this happen.”
With a buzz of more than 500 women around, the event was truly encouraging for women entrepreneurs.
