Pune: Viral Video Exposes Brutal Puppy Beating in Kondhwa, FIR Registered
Kondhwa, 20th May 2023: A video capturing the brutal assault on a helpless puppy in the Kondhwa area has gone viral on social media, exposing the cruelty inflicted upon the animal.
The Kondhwa Police Station has promptly registered a case against the assailant identified as Junaid Shaikh.
The distressing incident took place on the afternoon of May 15 when Junaid Shaikh allegedly subjected a four-month-old white Siberian Husky puppy to severe beating, resulting in serious injuries. The video, which circulated rapidly on social media platforms, caught the attention of animal welfare activist Padmini Peter Stump from Mission Possible.
Driven by her dedication to animal rights, she wasted no time in filing a formal complaint at the Kondhwa Police Station, seeking justice for the traumatized puppy. Responding promptly to the complaint, the Kondhwa Police has registered a case against Junaid Sheikh, initiating a thorough investigation into the matter.
The incident has evoked widespread outrage among animal lovers and concerned citizens, demanding strict action against the perpetrator.
