Wagholi, 11th February 2023: The residents of Wagholi intend to protest against the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) for failing to take any action regarding the provision of water, the construction of roads, the reduction of property taxes, the provision of amenities, etc.

The protest will begin on February 26 at 11 am from the PMC Ward Office, Wagholi, and is being organized by residents of Bakori Road and Team Wagholi Against Corruption.

The citizens have warned that the said protest won’t end until PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar hears their concerns and takes appropriate action.

Residents had just staged two protests in January, and although they had been promised action by the administration, there had been no resolution. As a result, the locals have prepared for another protest until their problems are resolved.
