Pune Weather Forecast: NDA Records 15 mm, Shivajinagar 12.7 mm; Rainfall Prediction for Next 2 Days
Pune, 28th September 2026: Rainfall varied significantly across Pune and nearby areas on Monday, with the National Defence Academy (NDA) recording the highest rainfall at 15 mm between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. IST.
Shivajinagar recorded 12.7 mm of rainfall during the period, followed by Purandar at 12.5 mm. Pashan AWS recorded 2 mm, while Ambegaon and Hadapsar received 1.5 mm and 1 mm, respectively, according to rainfall data provided by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD’s local forecast for Pune and its neighbourhood indicates that thundery activity, lightning and very light to light rain are likely on September 29 and 30. Skies are expected to remain mainly clear before becoming partly cloudy during the afternoon or evening.
For Pune, the IMD has forecast a maximum temperature of 31°C on both days. The minimum temperature is expected to be 20°C on Tuesday and 21°C on Wednesday.
