Pune: Whirlwinds Win Close Encounter At First Edition Of Poona club Billiards and Snooker League
Pune, 16 September 2022: The Whirlwinds edged out R.S Cannons 3-2 in their league encounter at the First edition of the PCBSL(Poona club Billiards and Snooker League which will be played at the Poona Club Snooker Hall.
In the other matches, Rockets outpotted Sanghvi Shooters 4-1, while Ball Breakers edged out Parmar All Stars 3-2
In the best match of the day The Whirlwinds over cane R.S Cannons 3-2 in the 15 Red Handicap Snooker Singles: Vignesh Sanghvi bt Rajesh Jandial 100-70 in the Doubles Sahil Handa/Rohit Chopra outplayed Mino Karkaria/Ricky Rajpal 106-79;
In the Handicap Billiards Singles their team Sunil Handa lost to Anand Kering 180-200 in the 6 Red Handicap Snooker Singles Nishant Mehta edged out Muniz Punawala 29-51, 44-36, 63-24 while in the Blue Shootout Neeraj Arora lost to Anish Kering 1-3 .
The tournament was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Rajan Khinvsara, President, BSFI, Mr. Nitin Desai, President of Poona Club Ltd, Mr. Sunil Handa, Vice President of Poona Club Ltd.
