Pune Will Be Made The Best City In Maharashtra, Oxygen Park To Come Up In Kharadi – Ajit Pawar

Kharadi, 13th March 2022: The ground breaking ceremony of Oxygen Park at Kharadi by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Minister of State for Tourism Aditi Tatkare, State Women’s Commission Chairperson Rupali Chakankar and MLA Sunil Tingre were also present on the occasion.

Pawar said that in the last two years of the Coronavirus disease (COVID) pandemic, we realized the importance of oxygen. The state has become self-sufficient in oxygen production due to the efforts of the government. Infrastructure is being developed so that patients can get proper treatment. Oxygen Park will be important for the health of the citizens. He also said that the project would not be short of funds.

Oxygen Park will be useful

Pawar further said that Rs 12.5 crore is being spent on this project. It is designed to be suitable for all age groups. There will be an open theatre, gym, study room for children, bicycle track, playground for children etc. Many facilities will be provided on the lines of overseas facilities. Neem, Ashoka and other trees will be planted in the park along with the most oxygen-rich trees declared by NASA.

Along with this park, there is an attempt to make the hills green by planting different types of trees. Consistent efforts are being made for the overall development of Pune through the government. The budget emphasizes the overall development of the state.

Accelerate the development of infrastructure

Rs 4 lakh crore will be spent for construction of all facilities in the state in next 3 years. The country’s first large Medicity colony with all kinds of medical treatment facilities will be set up in Pune. Rs 1,500 crore has been allocated for Pune Metro to ease traffic congestion. Also, Rs 3,000 crore has been allocated for land acquisition of Ring Road. The Pune-Nashik semi-high speed railway project will cost Rs 16,000 crore.

 

Government’s emphasis on job creation

During Corona’s time, many jobs were lost. Business fell. Therefore, there is a need to start an incubation centre, an innovation centre for the youth. Therefore, the government has adopted a policy of attracting industries for job creation.

Will take everyone along for development

Large scale development works are being carried out in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and in the state through the government and the role of the government is to develop all castes and religions.

The Deputy Chief Minister also appealed to the citizens to try to help the school by planting trees instead of spending it on welcoming events.

Innovative projects like Oxygen Park are important – Tatkare

Minister Tatkare said that innovative projects like Oxygen Park along with infrastructure are important for the development of the area. Rs 2.5 crore has been sanctioned from the Regional Tourism Project for this project. Another Rs 5 crore has been proposed in the next phase. The total project cost is Rs 12 crore 50 lakhs.

MLA Sunil Tingre said there was a need for a good park in the area. This need is now being met through Oxygen Park, which will benefit the children in the area.

Today, Deputy Chief Minister Pawar performed ground breaking ceremonies as well as inaugurated 30 development works.

Former MLA Rambhau Moze, Kamaltai Dhole Patil, corporator Prashant Jagtap, Pradip Gaikwad, corporator Sheetal Sawant, Rekha Tingre, Usha Kalmakar were present on this occasion.
