Pune: Wine Shop Owner Resists Robbery Attempt, Robbers Fire Shots and Flee
Narhe, 24th April 2023: A wine shop owner in Narhe, Pune, was targeted by two robbers on a motorcycle who tried to snatch a bag containing Rs 29 lakh.
Tukaram Sopan Ingle, the owner of Hero Wines, had just closed the shop and was sitting in his car when two men on a bike wearing black and white shirts approached him, brandishing pistols. The incident occurred near the back gate of Navale Hospital in Narhe around 11 pm on Sunday.
The robbers demanded the bag from Ingle, but he refused to let go. As a result, the robbers fired in the air to create panic and fled the scene empty-handed.
Following the incident, Ingle filed a complaint at the Sinhagad Road Police Station against the unidentified robbers. An empty cartridge was found at the scene. The police are conducting a further investigation into the case.
