Pune Witnesses Grand Celebration of Lord Parshuram Jayanti with Devotion and Cultural Fervour

Pune, 30th April 2025: Over 500 members of the Brahmarshi community gathered at Residency Club on Wednesday to mark the auspicious occasion of Lord Shri Parshuram Jayanti in a vibrant and spiritually uplifting celebration organized by the Shri Parshuram Samaj Trust.

The event began with a traditional puja ceremony dedicated to Lord Parshuram, revered as the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and a symbol of courage and righteousness. Following the religious rituals, the atmosphere turned festive with a series of cultural performances that left the audience enthralled.

Renowned folk artist Phool Singh captivated attendees with his powerful renditions, while acclaimed singer Anamika Tripathi added a soulful touch with devotional songs that echoed with reverence and energy.

The celebration also became a platform for community bonding and collective reflection on cultural roots and social unity. “Events like these not only honour our spiritual legacy but also bring our community together to stand strong for future generations,” said Kumar Krishnan, a core member of the Trust, in his welcome address.

The evening was graced by several eminent personalities including the Chief Guest, BJP leader and social reform advocate Shweta Shalini. Other notable attendees included entrepreneur Vineet Rai, former Income Tax Commissioner Sushil Kumar Singh, builder Naveen Rai, and author Smt. Indrani Sinha. Their presence added prestige and encouragement to the event, with several guests speaking about the relevance of Lord Parshuram’s ideals in today’s world.

The Trust’s leadership, including Convenor Brajesh Singh, President Chhotelal Ji, Vice President Om Prakash Trivedi, Secretary Mrityunjay Kumar, and Treasurer Ashok Sharma, received praise for their coordination and hospitality.

The organizing team, comprising senior and core members such as Keshav Rai, Sanjeev Ranjan, Narendra Sharma, Om Prakash Singh, Apurv Gourav, Neeraj Rai, Sharda Singh, and others, ensured the event’s smooth execution.

In her address, Chief Guest Shweta Shalini said, “The spirit of Lord Parshuram lives on through such collective efforts. His message of discipline, justice, and service remains more relevant than ever.”

The celebration concluded with a collective pledge by all dignitaries and attendees to follow the values espoused by Lord Parshuram, affirming a commitment to ethical living, courage, and community service.

As the curtains fell on the evening, Mrityunjay Kumar delivered the vote of thanks, expressing deep gratitude to all supporters, guests, and volunteers who contributed to the memorable occasion.
