Pune: Woman Allegedly Sexually Assaulted by Members of Koyta Gang in Hinjawadi
Hinjawadi, 22th February 2023: A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by a group of men in Hinjawadi, Pune on Sunday. The victim was walking alone on a deserted road when a group of men approached her and asked her for directions. The men then reportedly took her to a nearby secluded area where they sexually assaulted her.
The woman managed to escape and reached a nearby police station to report the incident. The police have launched an investigation and have arrested several suspects who are believed to be members of the Koyta gang.
The Koyta gang, known for its involvement in various criminal activities such as robbery, extortion, and assault, operates in and around Hinjawadi. The gang has been a cause for concern for local residents and law enforcement agencies.
