Pune: Woman Dies By Suicide After Being Harassed For Opposing Husband’s Love Affairs
Pune, 29th December 2022: A wife was persecuted for opposing her husband’s love affairs with other women. Tired of this torture, she died by suicide. Sahkarnagar police have arrested the husband, mother-in-law, and father-in-law who provoked the deceased to suicide.
The arrested have been identified as Bhivraj Jagannath Tambe, Jagannath Tambe, and Shevanta Tambe, residents of Tambevasti, Sakharwadi, Satara. The deceased has been identified as Komal Tambe (22). The incident took place on 26th December at Vighnaharta Apartment in Mohan nagar, Dhankawadi.
Dadasaheb Radhu Kharat (52), a resident of Nimbodi, Khandala, has filed a complaint at Sahkarnagar police station.
According to the information given by the police, Komal, the daughter of the complainant, was married to Bhivraj Tambe. After marriage, Komal came to know that her husband was having affairs with other women. Hence, Komal asked him to stop it. Then he threatened Komal to keep quiet or else there will be bad consequences. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law constantly harassed Komal mentally and physically while doing housework. Tired of the torture, she died by suicide. Assistant Police Inspector Shende is investigating the matter further.
