Pune: Woman Killed, Daughter Injured As Dumper Hits Their Two-Wheeler
Hadapsar, 16th January 2022: A young woman was injured and her mother was killed when a dumper driver hit their two-wheeler in Hadapsar on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ankita Atul Kulkarni (38), resident of Kalepadal, Hadapsar. Her daughter Ananya Kulkarni (18) has lodged a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station, Pune city police.
According to police, Ananya and her mother Ankita were riding their two-wheeler in Satavwadi area around 10.30 am on Saturday. The speeding dumper driver hit Ananya’s two-wheeler and they fell. Ankita succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Assistant Police Inspector Somnath Padsalkar is further investigating the matter.
