Pune: Woman Out For Dinner Harrassed In Vinannagar, Minor Among 4 Booked By Police

Vimannagar, 27th September 2022: It has come to light that a 30-year-old young woman living in the Wagholi area of ​​Pune went to have dinner with her friend in a car. At that time, a group of men standing on the road near the hotel made obscene remarks and made inappropriate gestures toward the concerned young woman.

When the said young woman and her friend went to ask the group about their behaviour, the group beat them and also damaged the BMW car.

In this case, the victim girl has filed a police complaint at the Airport police station. Accordingly, the police have arrested Srikant Suryavanshi (20), a resident of Yerwada, Pune, and Yash Vijay Shinde (20), a resident of Yerwada. Along with them, a 17-year-old boy has also been booked by the police.

The concerned girl had gone to a hotel near CCD Chowk, Vimannagar at 11 pm on September 25. Apparently, one of the accused from the group stopped on the road at that place and assaulted the complainant. Therefore, when her friend went to the said group to ask for an answer, the group abused him and beat him with their hands and threw a beer bottle at him.

In this beating, the complainant girl and her friend have been injured. It has also come to light that the accused have also damaged the glass of the BMW car this time. The Airport Police is conducting further investigation in this regard.
